I am 42 years old male and I was diagnosed with CTO. This is the same block which was treated with stent 5 years ago and completely blocked now. I delayed regular check up by 2 years due to covid, which proved be fatal.
When I knew about my condition, me and my family were very much worried and concerned as we heard that bypass surgery will be the only option to treat this condition, CTO with prior stent.
But when I met and talked to Dr. Sudhir Koganti at Citizens Hospitals, Hyderabad, I got lot of confidence felt very safe. Even before treatment, just interacting with him made me feel safe. On 9Feb2022, he performed very complex stenting procedure and opened the block. I later came to know that he is one of the very few doctors who can perform this kind of complex stenting procedure in whole of India, and also the equipment he used is pretty rare in India. The procedure was big success, and I was discharged next day.
I am extremely happy, satisfied and thankful to Dr.Sudheer. He has vast experience as Interventional Cardiologist and highly qualified, I feel lucky that I met Dr.Sudheer. He is friendly, approachable and understands patients concerns. He was considerate at the time of billing also. Cost was significantly less compared to other hospitals.
The whole experience of admitting to hospital to discharge was hassle free. Thanks to Mr.Ganesh, personal assistant of Dr.Sudheer. Right from diagnosis, he was with us. Hospitalization with critical disease is traumatic experience for any patient and family members. But Ganesh made me and my wife feel very comfortable and took care of all administrative things. He followed up and arranged all the necessary things at the hospital. He was very empathetic and always available. Thanks to him, I never felt that anxiety of being in hospital.
The staff in ICCU are professional and caring. Food from canteen was good and tasty. My overall experience of Citizen Hospital was very good.

** ******* ******* ** *** **** ************ ** ********** he has worked for best hospitals in London,UK prior to Citizens hospital in Hyderabad I panicked when I found out I had an ASD, but Dr Sudheer explained very detailed about the procedureI went through the ASD device closure procedure, Dr Sudheer and team has taken utmost care at every phase of treatment and I was discharged on Day2 and fully recovered within a week. My mother was diagnosed with an irregular heart condition during a routine check-up just before a wrist surgery. Luckily for us, Dr. Sudheer quickly diagnosed reviewed her condition, performed an angiogram and discovered that my mother has Aortic valve regurgitation and in-stent restenosis (ISR), which completely blocked her LAD artery. Given her age and present medical condition, by-pass surgery was a bit risky. Dr. Sudheer was very forthright and informed us all the pros and cons and never rushed us into taking a decision. When we opted for angioplasty, he skilfully performed the complex procedure and re-stented the hardened artery. My mother is back home healthy. Patience, clarity, humbleness, confidence are hallmarks of Dr. Sudheer (no exaggeration). He was always available and acted in the best interest of the patient. He is ably supported by his assistant Ganesh who took care of the pre/post procedure formalities and is excellent in following through with patients.

Very recently my mother was treated by Dr. Sudheer, cardiologist. He has treated my father as well for Angioplasty earlier. This time for my mother it was even more complex and it required rotoblation treatment. Dr. Sudheer Sir comes with exemplary skills and rich knowledge and experience. We are so lucky that our parents got treated by him. He sent our parents back home healthy. At the time of my father's treatment he also did angioplasty for a lady who was 105 year old at that time. His groundedness and kindness and memory about past patients is great. He treats so kind and humble. Sir makes the case personal and sends back with happiness. Sudheer Sir is a greatest asset for Citizen.
Last but not least, Sudheer sir assistant Ganesh is very helpful and makes sure he addresses the needs of patients and attendants. His knowledge and counselling is good.
